COOKING WITH KIDS

Earn some brownie points with these Kid tested recipes, all of which are great for getting your kids involved in the kitchen, HAPPY COOKING!

If I am to be completely honest I am no great baker, I would love to be, but I just don't have the patience to be meticulous in recipes. I'd say I'm more of a dash of this and a pinch of that kind of girl.
Luckily for my family I can whip up a meal and its decent. Probably not something you would find in a 5 star restaurant , but definitely edible. I could care less about the presentation, so long as there is no risk of food poisoning, were all good.

I can admit that in my frugal ways (and for healthier choices) I try to make everything we eat, with few packaged "meals" like cereal and the occasional pizzas when I need a quick fix.
I spend a bit of time each week looking for recipes to change things up, whether its an old favorite, or something that would resemble packaged fast foods so that my kids stop asking me why their friends eat this or that , why can't they.?

My eldest Son (One of the meat eaters) has decided that he would like to add his two cents to my recipes. He has developed a taste of critiquing food over the last few years, And its another opportunity for him to improve his writing ability. So look for his take at the bottom of each recipe.

**You should note , most of my recipes are not precise,  they are taken from various recipes I've looked at , and I've tweaked them to suit our families needs.
